For this week's blog, I will share what I would do in five different categories if I had all the time, money, and talent in the world.

Education: Along with the other assumptions of having time, money, and talent, I also assume I have the physical endurance and strength to accomplish these.

1.     Learn to play the piano.

2.     Learn to fly a plane.

3.     Become a medical doctor to help those who cannot afford healthcare.

4.     Become a biochemist that can solve the opioid crisis.

5.     Become a lawyer to assist those who cannot afford legal representation.

6.     Become a master gardener.

7.     Become a professional dressage rider.

8.     Learn how to design and build a smart house.

9.     Learn to scuba dive.

10.  Learn to paint.

Job or research: Most of these would be associated with the abovementioned education.  I have seen too many times that money does make a difference. If two people are charged with the same crime, the one with the money will have a greater chance of getting the charges dropped than someone who has no money and must use a public attorney. Sadly, the same thing happens in some medical cases.

1.     Medical Doctor

2.     Defense Attorney

3.     Teacher/Professor for online classes

4.     Master Gardener

5.     Farmer

6.     Pilot

7.     Travel Guide

8.     Missionary

9.     Artist

10.  Retired

Philosophical or religious: I would love to see the first five primarily because of their extraordinary designs. I enjoy learning about other religions and their history. The most interesting and fascinating non-Christian sites I have seen are the Ajanta and Ellora caves and the Taj Mahal. The history and architecture are incredible. For the last five, I have assumed that with all the time, money, and talent, I can go into the past to see the top historical Christian events.  I have been to Israel, but I would love to see the historical events in person. I am excluding Christ’s Crucifixion. Even though I know he did not stay dead, I do not think I could watch what He endured.

6.     The Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus.

7.     When Noah left the ark after the flood waters receded.

8.     The Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve were expelled.

9.      Christ's Transfiguration on Mount Tabor.

10.    When Christ raised Lazarus in Bethany from the dead.

Travel: I have been blessed to be able to travel a lot of the world for my job.  I tried to think out of the box as to where I would like to go.  I do not have any desire to go to space. I prefer to see the beautiful things in nature right here on earth.

1.     Go to Alaska and see the northern lights.

2.     Go to Sydney, Australia and hold a koala bear, and scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef.

3.     Go to New Zealand

4.     Go to the Galápagos Islands

5.     Go on an African Safari

6.     Go to Egypt and see the pyramids.

7.     Go to Machu Picchu, Peru.

8.     Go in a boat under the Iguazu Falls in Argentina.

9.     Tour all the ancient castles of the world.

10.  Travel to the deepest parts of the ocean with the ability to see all the unique creatures that live there.

Home: Illinois is too cold for me so the first goal would be to move somewhere a little warmer and isolated.

1.     Buy one hundred acers in Tennessee.

2.     Build a huge Victorian house.

3.     Build several smaller houses where my Dad, kids, and grandkids could stay.

4.     Build a large indoor/outdoor saline swimming pool.

5.     Have a huge horse arena, training center, horse therapy center, and everything will clean itself.

6.     Gardens and orchards that will allow the farm to be self-sustaining.

7.     Exotic animal rescue center.

8.     Petting zoo for grandkids.

9.     A “smart house” that cleans itself, does my laundry, restocks food, cooks, and does dishes.

10.  A closet that has a machine that creates clothes.

I am at the point in life that I am trying to figure out what I want to be “when I grow up.”  I have seen some significant inventions during my life.  The most significant is the Internet.  Going back in history to see historical events would be awesome.  I do not have any desire to see the future unless I can make changes that would make a difference.
